The two steps required to define a company tree are as follows:

At the company list level, you can create a company but clicking on the

Company Default Valuation and Valuation Data Provider Settings
At a company’s default settings level, you can specify the default settings in respect of:
- valuation; and
- valuation data providers.

2. Defining Company’s Default Valuation Data Provider Settings
For the purposes of valuation data exception management, you can specify the applicable valuation data group and preferred valuation data providers.

Entity Default Valuation and Valuation Data Provider Settings
At the entity level, you can override the entity’s settings that are inherited by default from the parent company in respect of:
- valuation; and
- valuation data providers,
by setting Valuation Settings and/or Settings to Entity Bespoke Settings” instead of Company Valuation Settings and/or Company Valuation Data Provider Settings.
