Static Data - External ID Sources and Custom Field Names for Trades

Under Data/Static Data , you can define:

1. External Trade ID Sources
2. Custom Fields

External Trade ID Sources

You can add to a trade multiple trade IDs related to different external systems. Bespoke external Trade ID sources need to be defined first.

Under Data/Static Data/ID Source, at the external trade ID source list level, you can create a identifier source by clicking on ADD NEW (or edit an existing one by double-clicking on the line item).

After clicking on ADD NEW

Once an external Trade ID source has been defined, the associated trade ID can be be added to a trade. See here.

A description of an external Trade ID Source’s attributes and corresponding permissible values are set out in the table below.

Field Name	Description	Permissible Values
Name	The name of the External Trade ID Source	Free Text
ID	The unique ID for the External Trade ID Source (immutable once saved)	Free Text (no spaces)

Custom Fields

You can add to a trade multiple bespoke custom fields which need to be defined first.

Under Data/Static Data/Custom Field Names, at the custom field list level, you can create a bespoke custom field by clicking on ADD NEW (or edit an existing one by double-clicking on the line item).
